Manado Government Sends Its High-Achieving Youths to Sampoerna University

On August 9th, 2019 the city government of Manado, North Sulawesi officially starts to send its youths to study at Sampoerna University in 2019/2020 academic year. The cooperation agreement was signed between Putera Sampoerna Foundation (PSF) and the city government at Sampoerna University campus, L’Avenue Office Building. The government offers educational assistance for young Manadoneses with remarkable achievement.

The ceremony was joined by Dr. Wahdi Salasi April Yudhi, M. Dev Admin, Ph. D. (Rector of Sampoerna University), G.S Vicky Lumentut (Mayor of Manado), and Indra Yudha Pratama Kusumah (Head of Corporate Affairs and Partner Relations of Putera Sampoerna Foundation).

“I congratulate all of the students from Manado who are selected to study here. Prepare yourselves to study under an international curriculum and education, thanks to our partnership with Broward College and the University of Arizona,” stated the rector who is thankful for the trust that Manado Government has given.

“We thank God that today the agreement was signed. Manado is now actively realizing its mission ‘Manado Smart City 2021’,” spoke the mayor.

The cooperation with Manado City Government in the field of education aims to improve the human resource quality. Therefore, they are capable of contributing better to the development of Manado. (*/)
