Runner Up of CIMB ASEAN Stock Challenge 2017

Sampoerna University Team’s awarded as the runner up of national winner from 444 teams in Indonesia during the CIMB Asean Stock Challenge 2017. The annual CIMB ASEAN Stock Challenge is a regional stock trading competition that offers real -time trading experience across five major stock exchanges - Bursa Malaysia, Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Singapore Exchange (SGX), The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and The Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx). This unique competition is open to undergraduates in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, and for the first time this year, Brunei. Sampoerna University resulted a total gain of $69,229.68 that the Team raised during the 15 days of trading competition, this remarkable result was acknowledged as the second highest gain from 3,727 teams over the ASEAN, including Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, Brunei, and Indonesia.
